Kingfisher Crossing is a sanctuary, nestled beside a small lake in pristine nature.  Utterly secluded, it's the only cottage on this lake, set on 55 forested acres.  Sit on the dock and read, go for walks on miles of trails, roast marshmallows at the camp fire, canoe, fish, swim, or just lie in a hammock and have a snooze.  

It is the King of kings' backyard and we hope that you will cross paths with Him here.

Retreats

At Kingfisher Crossing we want people to learn to live freely and lightly by keeping company with Jesus.  We offer guided contemplative retreats or custom-designed retreats crafted to meet your needs, with a special interest in supporting people in ministry and ministry leadership teams.

While we do offer devotional impulses, personal conversations, prayer counselling, spiritual direction and sharing times, the idea of a retreat is not to replace the activism of ministry with a busy schedule. We want to provide a venue for individuals/couples to rest and find time to keep company with Jesus so that He can speak into and refuel their lives.

The retreat hosts are Heidi and Stefan Konig, who themselves have been in retreat, Bible school, and church ministries for decades.

Direct your heart to Jesus and restore your soul.  If you need to hear from God, to grow deeper with Him, consider spiritual direction. An ancient discipline of soul care, Heidi is trained to prayerfully lead you in this practice.
Kingfisher Crossing is a fully equipped lodge with four  bedrooms, each with en suite bath, fireplace and walk-out to a deck.  See pictures below and on Cottage Rental page.

Take a canoe or the pedal boat onto the lake.  Sit at the campfire and gaze at the stars. Find a quiet place on one of the screened decks, in the small chapel or on one of the thoughtfully placed benches on the trails.
