Kingfisher Crossing is a quiet place away from hectic traffic and busyness, nestled beside a small lake in pristine nature. Beautifully secluded, it's the only cottage on this lake, set on 55 forested acres. Sit on the dock and read a book, go for walks on miles of trails, roast marshmallows at the camp fire, canoe on the lake, fish, swim, or just lie in a hammock and have a snooze. It is the King of kings' backyard and we hope that you will cross paths with Him here. Killbear Provincial Park is just 10 minutes away with spectacular beaches, jumping cliffs, and well developed nature trails. Kingfisher Crossing is a fully equipped year-round home. Each bedroom has a queen bed, en suite bath, fireplace and walk-out to a deck. See pictures below. (If the layout of the bedrooms does not suit your needs, we can provide mattresses/cots.. Overflow sleeping may be available in a bunkie and our Trillium trailer (no running water or cooking facilities). Please contact us to inquire about alternatives to meet your family's needs.) The open-concept living area has a beautiful fireplace for cozy conversations. Gather here to play Fussball, board games and puzzles, or enjoy the piano and guitar available for guests. Take your coffee onto one of the screen decks for a lazy morning. Guests may use our canoe, pedal boats, and volleyball court. Young children have a play area at the lakeside with sandbox, slide and wading pool. Near the dock is a beautifully landscaped fire pit where you can linger to watch the stars.
